This is a wonderful portrait of a very talented artist! Thank you for taking your time to spotlight Mary and for using her grandchildren (my sons) to help tell/show her story. We have always been proud of Mary’s work…thank you for showing it to so many others!

You are an excellent photographer, by the way! Good luck to you in the future.

I was speaking to Mary Dilworth who mentioned that you were a photographer who had greatness in her future. When I looked at your piece, I was not only impressed by the photographic journalism of the video, but I was also taken back by how the photos captured the essence of the audio message given by Mary. It was very touching as Mary described her knowledge of art and how she was helping to transmit her knowledge to another generation of Dilworths. It is rare to find a person who is a talented art teacher, a gifted artist, a knowledgable art historian and an art therapist all rolled into one individual.
Mary has taught in many different settings, from college to alternative high schools to prisons and community settings. She is a nationally recognized artist, but because of her humble modesty she has been a hidden jewel in the Hartwell community. I hope your work serves to help bring her the local recognition she deserves.
